Ingredients
4 cups finely shredded green cabbage
3 green onions thinly sliced
2 large carrots, finely shredded
2 apples, peeled and finely shredded
Dressing
1/3 cup light mayonnaise
1/3 cup light sour cream
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tbsp. cidar vinegar
1 tbsp. granulated sugar
½ tsp. each of salt and pepper
½ tsp. celery seeds
Step 1
Presalt the cabbage to extract moisture and diminish bitterness.
Step 2
Mix the cabbage, onions, carrots and apples in a large bowl.
Step 3
Mix the dressing ingredients in a small bowl with a whisk.
Step 4
Combine dressing and salad and chill until you’re ready to
eat.
